PART 2 - PARENTING PLUS

• Preparing for adoptive parenting.
• 3 full consecutive days (usually a Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday).
• To be attended prior to completion of homestudy.

By attending all the modules of our two-part program, you satisfy the educational requirement of your homestudy through Hope Services. In addition, the homestudy involves meeting with your social worker several times, including a visit in your home. Your final interview follows your attendance at the second seminar. Most people find they are able to complete many parts of the homestudy process in the time between the first (Process Plus) and the second (Parenting Plus) seminars. With the interviews behind you, the social worker signs off your homestudy.

You may attend our educational course without committing to the application and homestudy process.  These educational modules are an invaluable resource that can give new and exciting confidence to any adoption experience.
