The Infant Development Program serves families of children birth to three years old with a developmental delay or disability, as well as children at risk of developmental delay. Funded by the Ministry of Children and Family Development, the program is free of charge and available in all communities throughout BC.
An Infant Development Consultant will meet with you in your home and work together with you to asses your child's development and to plan a program of activities to promote your child's progress. The program also assists families in accessing appropriate services and community resources, and in making connections with other families.
If you are concerned regarding your child's development, parent referrals to the program are accepted. For more information or to find the number of the program nearest you, visit www.idpofbc.ca .
